Feltz to marry Ben Ofoedu this year

Vanessa Feltz has announced she will marry musician Ben Ofoedu later this year.

The presenter will wed her partner, formerly a singer in Phats & Small, in a civil wedding in London. They have been dating for just under a year.

"We’re going to have a civil wedding because Ben is Nigerian so I don’t feel I can have a Jewish wedding," Feltz told the Daily Mail. "We would have got married before now but we haven’t had time.

"We are both very busy so it has been a case of fitting it in. It’s time-consuming to organise a wedding." She said she had considered going overseas for the day, but added: "The sun was tempting, but we decided against it.

"It’s exciting and I am very much looking forward to it, Ben is lovely - I’ve done well, haven’t I?"
