Hilton drops appeal against jail sentence

Paris Hilton has decided to drop her appeal against a 45-day jail sentence.

The hotel heiress scrapped the plans after learning that she will only have to serve half of the sentence because of recent 'good behaviour'.

Hilton was sentenced to jail time after being caught driving while banned. She will report to a special needs housing unit in suburban LA on June 5.
