Winehouse's parents shocked by wedding

Amy Winehouse did not tell her parents about her plans to marry fiancé Blake Fielder-Civil.

The Rehab singer's father Mitchell was shocked when she phoned him to explain that she had tied the knot with her on-off boyfriend during a trip to the States.

"We didn't know about the wedding until they phoned to tell us. To say we were shocked is an understatement," Mitchell told the Sunday Mirror. "I was with Amy last week in Canada and she didn't mention it.

"I'm not angry, just a bit sad. It's not every day your daughter gets married and it's sad for her mum that she was not there. I would have liked to walk her up the aisle."
