Michael Jackson drops legal battle
Michael Jackson has dropped his legal battle attempting to prevent the auction of some of his former possessions.

The singer tried to reclaim items which he claimed were his personal property, but has now reached an agreement with the owner.

The items - which include a gold record awarded to the star for his 1982 single 'Thriller' and Tito Jackson's hand-written lyrics for 'ABC' - have come under the ownership of luggage storage company Universal Express.

The costumes, lyrics and awards became their property after Jackson failed to pay the bill for storage.
