Mirren reveals "massive crush" on Becks

Dame Helen Mirren has admitted she has a massive crush on David Beckham.

The Oscar winner recently revealed her admiration for the footballer, but has now gone one step further and admitted she is mildly obsessed with Beckham.

The pair met at the awards ceremony to celebrate the Greatest Britons of all time, and the actress told Heart of her excitement over the incident. "A soft spot doesn't really start to describe how I feel about David really and I have done for many years," the 61-year-old admitted. "When you've admired someone and loved them and had a crush on someone for ages you can never quite believe they've heard of you but when they go, ‘It’s nice to meet you’… it’s so exciting.”
