Willis files lawsuit against car dealer

Published Wednesday, May 23 2007, 16:42 BST | By David Cribb
Bruce Willis is suing a car firm who he claims sold him a faulty car.

The actor bought a 1967 GTO from company Black Tie Classic in December of last year. Willis claims the vehicle was "an inoperable car riddled with extensive mechanical problems", and claimed the dealer refused to refund his $65,000 price as they had promised.

Willis has now started legal proceedings, but Black Tie Classic owner John Bertino is unimpressed with the action: "They were complaining the moment they got the car. It's a beautiful car. There is nothing wrong with it. I've heard of persons with egos, but this is ridiculous. I asked him if he wanted to check the car out and he said no."
