Abdul hits out at alcohol jibes

Paula Abdul has hit out at people who accuse her of being an alcoholic.

The American Idol judge has been the subject of a barrage of rumours over alcoholism, which started after Simon Cowell made an off-the-cuff remark about her glass during a show.

"I'm sick of it," she told OK!. "I've never been drunk, and I don't do recreational drugs. (Simon) made a funny accusation that something was in my Coca-Cola cup."
