Russell Crowe reveals stadium plans

Gladiator star Russell Crowe has revealed his plans to build a 25,000-seater stadium in Australia.

The project is reportedly being undertaken in Crowe's role as co-owner of rugby team the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

He wants to share the new sports arena with local football team Sydney FC, which is partly owned by actor Anthony LaPaglia.

LaPaglia told Entertainmentwise: "Russell wants a stadium, I want a stadium and we think together there is a possibility we might be able to pull it off.

"I would say if we could get the right people in the room at the same time, it is something that could happen in two to three years."
