The hotel heiress is currently imprisoned in Century Regional Detention Centre in California, serving a 23-day sentence.
According to experts the diary will fetch in excess of $1 million (£500,000) and is already at the centre of a bidding war between a number of magazines and television shows.
A source told the Daily Star: "Paris’s jail diary will make a dramatic read. If she can make it believable and not exaggerate too much she can expect to make a fortune
"And when she gets out it’s the story everyone will want – how the pampered rich girl coped with life behind bars."
