Paris Hilton sent back to jail

The hotel heiress burst into tears after being informed of the decision and screamed "It's not right!" as she was escorted out of the courtroom.
Hilton had been released from jail 36 hours earlier after serving just three days of her sentence and was told that she would be kept under house arrest for another 40 days. However, she was called back to court by Judge Michael Sauer, who said that he did not approve of Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca's decision to allow her to return home.
Explaining his actions after Paris had returned to jail, Mr. Baca said that Hilton had been sent home for a medical reason. He added: "This lady has some severe problems. I can't trust her tenuous status. I need more cooperation from the courts and from the city attorney's office."
Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo insisted: "This decision sends the message that no individual - no matter how wealthy or powerful - is above the law. Justice was served."
Hilton was sentenced last month for driving while her licence was suspended.
