Macca invites Mills to birthday celebration

Sir Paul McCartney has finally decided to bury the hatchet with estranged wife Heather Mills.
The former Beatle has invited Heather to his Peasmarsh estate to spend time with him and their daughter Beatrice on his 65th birthday a week tomorrow. It is understood that Heather has bought Macca a present and will also bring a vegan birthday cake to the celebration.
Rather than sorting out the details of their divorce through lawyers, the pair have also been speaking regularly to each other over the phone.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: "We are talking about a total and very quick transformation from a state of complete vitriol between the two of them to something much more amicable. It is as though Sir Paul has reached saturation point with all the bitterness, and Heather - aware of the battering her public image has taken - has decided to genuinely try to bury the hatchet.
"He has always said he still loved her and Heather has basically grown very tired of being public enemy number one. It's pretty unpleasant being damned as a scheming liar who has caused all this unhappiness to the nation's favourite pop star. And it had the knock-on effect in that it was preventing her from focusing on the causes she wants to champion."
