Ocean's Thirteen star Ellen Barkin has criticised celebrities who use plastic surgery to maintain their youthful looks.
The 53-year-old actress insisted that some Hollywood stars have undergone so many cosmetic procedures that their acting abilities have been affected.
She said: "I think it's dangerous. They are sending out a signal saying: 'I'm not happy with where I am'.
"I see celebrities of my age so sculpted they don't look natural any more. If their face can't move or show expression I'm no longer interested in watching them act."
