Davina to explain drugs past to kids
Davina McCall is planning to speak candidly with her children about her past drug troubles.

The Big Brother presenter overcame an addiction to cocaine, ecstasy and heroin as she began her TV career in the early nineties and is now worried that an "addictive" weak gene may have been passed down to her three children - Holly, five; Tilly, three, and Chester, nine months.

"I’m going to be absolutely honest with them," she told The Times. "I think that the most important thing you can do as a parent is try to lead them on the right path before they go into the tunnel… the difficult years, which start at about 11 or 12. Once children are in the tunnel, as a parent, you can’t get to them. You just have to love them unconditionally until they come out at 18 and go 'Hello! I’m a nice person again.'"
