Aguilera to launch acting career

Christina Aguilera has revealed that she is planning to launch an acting career.

The 'Dirrty' star insisted that she will only take on roles that are absolutely right for her.

She said: "I am looking forward to moving into another form of what I feel is another creative outlet for me and that would be acting. When I attempt to do it, I want to do it right so it's important for me that I do choose the right first role for myself."

Aguilera's previous acting experience is limited to a brief, uncredited voice role in 2004 animated movie Shark Tale.
