Pete Doherty: 'I haven't married Kate'

Pete Doherty has scotched rumours that he has married his supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss.

The Babyshambles frontman admitted that his life has changed since he began dating the iconic supermodel in 2005, but denied that the pair have secretly wed.

When asked whether he had married Moss, he joked: "Yes we did it for the third time, the ninth time, but no, we didn't get married."

However, Doherty revealed on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross that it is hard for the headline-grabbing pair to spend time alone, saying: "When you get away it's all the more special - you cherish it. Sometimes getting from the front door to the car is hard enough.

"It's just the way it is. A lot of the time it's just: 'Oh look, it's Kate Moss's boyfriend'. The other day we went to St James' Park at two in the morning, walked by Buckingham Palace, but by the time we got to Piccadilly we'd been spotted."
