More than 500 people - including fellow comedians - turned out for the funeral of Bernard Manning.
A procession for the performer, who died last week at the age of 76, was cheered by fans as it arrived at his Embassy Club in Manchester on Tuesday.
Hundreds of guests then attended a service at Blackley Crematorium. They included comics Tommy Cannon and Bobby Ball, Frank Carson, Stan Boardman, Jim Bowen, Roy Walker and Roy “Chubby” Brown.
Also in the congregation were footballing legend Dennis Law and Bruce Jones, who played Coronation Street's Les Battersby.
