Sir Elton John has received more than £250,000 in compensation after incorrectly buying statues that he thought were made by an 18th century Italian artist.
The music legend spent £180,000 on the four marble figures of Olympian gods from the Jean Renoncourt antique shop in Paris in 1996.
But experts found out that the statues were fakes when they looked at them six years ago.
The dealer was ordered to hand over the money to Sir Elton John and to pay to ship the imitations back to France.
