Michael Owen furious over bar bill drama

Michael Owen stormed out of a nightclub after deciding that staff members were trying to treat him like a "mug".
The Newcastle star reacted in anger when he was hit with a £2,000 bill for a VIP table at London venue Paper - before he had consumed a drop of alcohol. Staff insisted that he would have to take a standard seat at the bar if he did not pay the hefty sum.
Owen had visited the club with friends for his brother's stag night celebrations.
A source told The Sun: "He called the manager and said he might be a Premiership star earning millions - but was not a mug. The club refused to listen. So Michael looked over to his mates, said 'Come on, lads!' then marched them all out."
