Kate Nash has admitted that she finds the prospect of fame extremely worrying.
The 19-year-old singer is expected to reach the No. 2 spot in the charts this weekend with her single Foundations. However, she has become concerned that she will receive the same levels of attention as Lily Allen, who has often struggled to cope with the pressures of life in the spotlight.
"I worry about it a lot. I feel really paranoid all the time," Kate told the Daily Star. "It is frightening to see what Lily is going through and it is sad. I've got a very supportive label around me so I'm praying it won't happen to me."
She added: "Some people provoke attention, but I don't want to. I'm definitely not going to be sharing intricate details of my private life with anyone."
