Doherty fails to win back Moss

Pete Doherty's attempts to win back the affections of Kate Moss with a framed picture ended in disaster, with the indie-rocker smashing up the drawing he had made as a peace offering for her.

On Sunday, the Babyshambles front man arrived at the North London home he shares with the supermodel, carrying a framed hand-drawn picture of Moss and a scrawled message of love.

Reports in The Sun explain that Doherty was heard in the street, screaming: "Kate, please let me in."

An onlooker said: "Pete was banging on the door. After about ten minutes he threw the picture down and it shattered. As he drove off he hung out of the window with a crazed look in his eyes and shouted abuse."

Doherty has been locked out of his home since he was spotted sharing a taxi with another woman on his way home from West End nightclub Crystal last week.
