Razorlight star praises Bono

Razorlight star Johnny Borrell has heaped praise on U2 frontman Bono.

The 'In The Morning' singer became a U2 fan when Razorlight supported the iconic Irish rockers on tour last year.

He told the NME: "Is Bono a mate? I have been incredibly impressed with him as a person. I'd never thought about U2 in my life. They just weren't on my radar. But we did some dates with them and it was amazing to talk to him and stuff."

However, Borrell admitted that he finds it difficult to stay in touch with the elusive rock star, saying: "Nobody has Bono in their phone contacts! Bono doesn't have a number that can stick in contacts.

"The last time Bono phoned me...he deleted all my text messages! There was no way you could get the number to call him back because not only had the number gone, but the whole call history had gone. I don't think anyone's got Bono's number."
