Cruz denies having panic attack on plane

Penelope Cruz has denied claims that she suffered a panic attack while on board an airplane last month.

A recent report said that the actress was about to take off from Newark, New Jersey for a trip to Barcelona, when she panicked and forced pilots to turn the plane around.

However, a spokesperson for Cruz insisted: "There was no panic attack. The airline told her there was going to be a three hour delay because of a storm, so she deplaned and did some work."
