Rachel Griffiths has revealed that she picks up parenting tips from TV show Supernanny.
The actress - best known for her role as Six Feet Under's Brenda Chenowith - admitted that the programme taught her how to discipline her two children.
"We have a naughty chair in my house. But I probably get more from Supernanny about consistency and evenness - just practical stuff really," Griffiths told WENN.
"I think when it comes to parenting, who has time to think philosophically? It's just basic things, like how do I stop my three-year-old conking the one-year-old over the head with a broom?"
