Toni Collette has announced that she is expecting her first child.
The Muriel's Wedding star, who has been married to musician Dave Galafassi for four years, revealed that fate had given her a hint that she might become a mother.
She said: "We're very happy. We are completely over the moon. It is strange the last three films I've done I have been pregnant. I'm just like, what is the universe trying to tell me? But I think everything happens when it's meant to."
On Saturday Collette and Galafassi performed at Sydney's Live Earth concert with their rock band The Finish.
