Christopher Langham will this week to go on trial for a string of child sex charges.
The comedy actor is charged with 10 counts of indecent assault and two counts of serious sexual assault on a girl under the age of 18 between January 1996 and April 2000.
He is also accused of 15 counts of making an indecent image of a child between September and November 2005.
Langham, from Kent, denied all the charges at Maidstone Crown Court in February. His trial is due to begin on Thursday at the same court.
The actor's career, most recently seen as star of The Thick Of It, was put on hold last year because of the charges, just after he had won a Bafta for the role.
