Boss claims Morrison died in his club

A nightclub boss's new book claims Doors frontman Jim Morrison died from heroin in his club.
The accepted version of the rock star's final moments says he passed away, aged 27, from heart failure while sitting in his bath.
Questions have hung over the story since the death in 1971, however, and now Sam Bernett, who ran Paris club The Rock n Roll Circus, has produced an alternative.
In The End: Jim Morrison he claims he discovered Morrison slumped and dead in the toilets of his venue, apparently after taking a heroin overdose.
Bernett tells how two drug dealers, who had sold heroin to the star, dragged him out of the cubicle and took him home.
He writes: "The flamboyant singer of The Doors, the beautiful California boy, had become an inert lump crumpled in the toilet of a nightclub."
The Paris prosecutor's office said it was unlikely the case would be reopened while Stephen Davis, a Morrison biographer, commented: "It just seems likely that if he died in the toilet of a nightclub it would have come out before now."
