ER star Goran Visnjic has confirmed that he will take a paternity test to see if he is the father of his childhood friend's baby daughter.
The actor, who plays Dr. Luka Kovac on the hit US show, admitted that he slept with Mirela Rupic, but claimed that he cannot remember the one-night stand because he was drunk and jetlagged.
Rupic filed paternity papers against Goran earlier this month, alleging that he refused to acknowledge their four-month-old daughter as his own.
Visnjic has been married to sculptor Ivana Vrdoljak since 1999.
"It is not something that I'm proud of, of course," Visnjic told Croation magazine Story. "But I am ready to accept all the consequences of my act."
He added: "I was always against cheating. I still can't believe I did it."
