Sugababes star Amelle Berrabah has agreed to marry boyfriend Freddie Fuller.
The 23-year-old singer has pledged her commitment to a future with Fuller, who was arrested earlier this year following a rape allegation made by Amelle's sister. Freddie has strongly denied the charge and convinced Berrabah that he is innocent.
Although it has been reported that Amelle's bandmates and record company want her to publicly distance herself from Freddie, she has been continuing their relationship in private.
A friend told the Sunday Mirror: "She has agreed to marry him. They were meeting in secret at friends' houses. Then Freddie arranged a romantic weekend away. After dinner he popped the question."
