Former lovers Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan have been photographed dining together amid rumours of an engagement.
The pair, who split up in February, have been pictured with each other on a string of occasions in the past week.
And a friend told the Mail on Sunday: "Jemima is saying they are just friends and that it was a coincidence they met in Paris, but all the signs are pointing to the relationship being on again.
"They have always had a complex relationship and it's true that Jemima still sees her first husband, Imran but that's because they have children. It's different with Hugh.
"There could have been a clean break but he has begged Jemima for another chance. He has proposed but Jemima isn't sure whether she wants to enter another marriage."
However, other sources close to the couple have denied they are back together or engaged.
