Arctic Monkeys plan to leave Sheffield

The singer explained that they are planning to say goodbye to their home city and relocate to London next year. However, Turner is concerned that he may not feel inspired to write songs away from Sheffield, while the prospect of doing his own laundry is also a frightening one.
"I tried to write some stuff yesterday in a hotel room - and it were just rubbish. So maybe I do just need to be back in my bedroom at home. We haven't spent a great deal of time in Sheffield lately and maybe after this year we might want to go somewhere else," Alex told The Sun.
"Staying in Sheffield is not a deliberate we-want-to-stay-away-from-London thing. We're not afraid of living in London. It'll be a real hassle not having our mums to get washing done, though."
