Masked raiders who burgled Kerry Katona threatened to kill her and her baby Heidi, her spokesman has revealed.
A gang of three broke into the ex-Atomic Kitten's mansion on Sunday night, armed with a knife, crowbar and sledgehammer, and stole items worth £150,000.
Max Clifford, the celebrity agent who represents Katona, told The Sun: “Kerry’s been through an utter nightmare. She is in a terrible state. She was in floods of tears.
“They got the house a few months ago and it was like a dream come true. They had the marriage and the baby and everything was going well. Then this happens.
“The men made it very clear that if she didn’t do what they wanted her life was in danger. She had no reason to doubt them. As Kerry pointed out, a lot of people who carry knives use them, so we have to count our blessings."
The burglars held husband Mark Croft and five-month-old Heidi captive, then took belongings including the couple’s wedding rings, Kerry’s engagement ring and electrical goods, before fleeing in their BMW M5 sports car.
Detectives have been examining CCTV to try to trace the gang.
