The woman accusing Chris Langham of abusing her has been branded a "fantasist" by his defence team in court.

Langham, 58, from Kent, denies 10 counts of indecent assault and two counts of a serious sexual offence on a girl under 18 between 1996 and 2000.

He also denies 15 counts of making an indecent image of a child in 2005 as he standspoor
trial at Maidstone Crown Court.

A woman who cannot be identified for legal reasons has told the jury the Thick of It star had sex with her from when she was 14.

Dived Whitehouse QC, counsel for Langham, accused her of lying that she lost her virginity at 14 during cross examination.

"You are suggesting that my client took your virginity. You say when you were 14," he said. "But the trouble is your relationship with your previous boyfriend was over before you went out with Chris Langham, if that's what you did."

Whitehouse also claimed the woman had given incorrect dates for occasions when she says they had sex at London hotels. He accused her of seducing Langham into having sex with her when she was 18.

"I suggest you are a fantasist," he added. "Your evidence is a pack of lies." The woman, now 25, replied: "I may have got some dates wrong but I didn't lie."

During the trial, which continues, Langham has been accused of systematically abusing the girl and of admitting to her he looks at child pornography.
