Lohan accused of drinking at birthday bash

Lindsay Lohan had started drinking again before she left rehab, according to a report today.

The Mean Girls actress was allowed to leave the Promises rehab centre in Malibu, where she was being treated for alcoholism, to celebrate her 21st birthday with family and friends on July 8. However, pals have claimed that Lindsay was "trashed" at her party after consuming vodka.

One partygoer told the News of the World: "Lindsay had told everyone it was going to be a quiet affair with no alcohol. However secretly she was pouring vodka into cans of Red Bull and getting trashed."

Lohan has now left the clinic and has been wearing an ankle bracelet which detects alcohol in her system.

The source added: "Nobody who knows Lindsay is fooled by her 'I'm sober' act and we all know she is still drinking. All that has changed is she is being a bit more secretive about it. After her birthday she went straight back into rehab for four days because clinic staff went berserk with her and has been wearing the ankle bracelet ever since."
