Tom Cruise and Will Smith co-hosted a special party for the couple at the Museum of Contemporary Art's Geffen Contemporary gallery.
The event was attended by 600 guests, including A-listers Demi Moore, Bruce Willis and Jim Carrey. Spice Girls manager and American Idol creator Simon Fuller, actor Ashton Kutcher and Brooke Shields were also at the bash.
Despite the possibilities to make new celebrity friends, David and Victoria spent much of the evening in each other's arms. They were spotted kissing and cuddling before hitting the dance floor together.
Earlier, the couple had made speeches, thanking the guests for taking the time to welcome them to Los Angeles. Victoria admitted that she felt "overwhelmed" by the support, while David said that it was "remarkable".
There were also speeches from Willis and Kutcher, who declared that they were "thrilled" to have the Beckhams in Hollywood.
