Radcliffe gets £20 million birthday gift?

Daniel Radcliffe has reportedly been given control of his estimated £20 million earnings for his 18th birthday.

Details of exactly how Radcliffe plans to celebrate the big day have as yet remained undisclosed, but the Harry Potter actor told the Daily Telegraph that there would "definitely be some sort of party".

He added: "Hopefully none of you will be reading about it."

Radcliffe said he was uncertain about what he wanted to do with his amassed fortune: "I know I'm in an incredibly fortunate position. But I don't plan to be one of those people who suddenly buys themselves a massive sports car collection.

"The things I like buying are things that cost about £10 - books and CDs and DVDs."
