In a message to a friend on MySpace, the pop singer reportedly said how spending time with the troubled widow made her want to check into rehabilitation herself.
Love and Allen spent time together in Los Angeles in April, partying until the early hours at Hyde nightclub.
According to The Sun she wrote: "I am not bfs (best friends) w/ (with) C (Courtney) Love, one night with her made me realise why KURT (Cobain) killed himself. I nearly checked into rehab."
