Lindsay Lohan arrested again

Lindsay Lohan has been arrested in LA on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The Mean Girls actress was pulled over by police close to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium at 2.15am today, after officers spotted her car chasing another vehicle. She was given a sobriety test before being transported to the Santa Monica Police Station, where she currently remains.

Police have confirmed that the 21-year-old was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended licence and for possession of cocaine.

Lohan is already facing a DUI charge following an incident in May. She was formally arrested last week after surrendering herself to police; this had not happened at the time because she was being treated in hospital.

Lindsay checked out of rehab earlier this month, after completing six weeks of treatment for alcohol abuse.
