Affleck raises climate change awareness
Published Wednesday, Jul 25 2007, 11:35 BST | By Kimberley Dadds
Ben Affleck has joined long-term friend Matt Damon to raise awareness of climate change by making a series of short videos about needing alternative fuel sources.
The films, called Clean My Ride, Flex My Fuel, support the Centre for American Progress Action Fund and see Damon spoofing his character in the Bourne trilogy.
He is seen dressed as a flex-fuel pump punching a guy who asks him to dance and says: "Come on, Congress. Come on, big oil. Mandate cleaner cars and cleaner fuel."
Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner have joined stars such as Jason Biggs and Joshua Jackson to appear in the films.
The first video will be broadcast on YouTube from today and more instalments will follow tomorrow and Thursday on the Clean My Ride website.
