Jo Whiley labelled a "potty mouth"

Radio 1 DJ Jo Whiley was labeled a "potty mouth" by a fellow DJ after accidentally swearing on air.

The former host of the Jo Whiley Show uttered the word "f**k" during a live broadcast this morning, before bursting into a fit of giggles.

Whiley was joking that she was going to crush Radio 1 colleague Scott Mills' car with a 60-tonne Chieftain tank, when the expletive slipped out.

Mills quickly apologised for her misdemeanors, telling listeners: "I need to apologise for Jo's potty mouth."

It was later claimed that the DJ had in fact muttered the words "forget it", and had been misquoted by Mills.
