Penelope Cruz inspired by Bono

Penelope Cruz has praised U2 frontman Bono for his humanitarian work.

The actress partied with Bono - real name Paul David Hewson - in St Tropez earlier this week, and was thrilled to be able to spend time with a man who has put so much effort into raising awareness of AIDS and poverty in Africa.

"He is so powerful yet so human," Cruz is quoted by the Evening Echo as saying. "Seeing him investing all his time and effort is something to admire. He's changing the world."
