Kate Nash: 'I keep stealing things'

Kate Nash has admitted that pop success has driven her to theft.

The 20-year-old Londoner, whose single 'Foundations' is currently at number two in the UK, confessed that she became light-fingered as soon as she hit the charts.

When asked by the NME whether fame had changed her life, she said: "I don't think there's been time to see if there has been any change. At the moment it's really busy: gigs, press, festivals and studio.

“Maybe in a few weeks' time I'll notice everything, but it's just the excitement. I keep stealing things - I stole that black card from HMV where it says someone's name and the single position."
