Britney to be sued over paparazzi clash

A paparazzi photographer who was involved in an altercation with Britney Spears and her bodyguard last week has now threatened to sue the singer.

In a statement released by his attorney, photographer Andrew Deetz confirmed that he is considering legal action. He has alleged that Spears' bodyguard Julio "J.C." Camera turned violent when he spotted Deetz and his colleague Kyle Henderson waiting for Spears outside the Wynn Hotel & Casino spa.

The statement claims that security staff had to intervene when Camera pushed Henderson against a wall outside the building last Thursday. It is alleged that Camera then attacked Deetz from behind, throwing punches and kicks until security stepped in for a second time.

Deetz has also claimed that Britney herself had to be restrained by security when she left the building. She has been accused of attempting to run towards Henderson, before throwing a baby bottle at him and threatening to kill Deetz.

Camera was cited for battery when police arrived on the scene. Britney has yet to respond to the new allegations.
