The singer is due to play later this month but a Muslim student group complained that she should not be allowed because she is "obscene" and wears revealing clothes.
But now Stefani has made plans to "abide by Malaysian authorities" and wear suitable attire during the show.
Rozalita Abdul Rahman of Maxis Communications told Sydney's Daily Telegraph: "Maxis Communications respects the values and conventions of this country. Whether it concerns the singer's attire or the security for the concert, we will abide by the rules and guidelines and assure that nothing will go wrong."
