Rihanna hits out at bickering gig-goers

Rihanna has berated fans for rowing at one of her live shows.

The 'Umbrella' star threatened to end her concert at the Summer Rush festival in Nova Scotia, Canada when she spotted a group of gig-goers arguing in front of the stage.

At the time the Bajan popstar was performing 'Breakin' Dishes', a song about a downtrodden wife who exacts revenge on her cheating husband.

She said: "I don't know what's going on in there, but if you don't stop, we're gonna cut the show. You better cut it out in the middle."

The crowd applauded her intervention, prompting the couple to end their altercation and Rihanna to resume the gig.
