Mel B has lunch with Murphy's ex-wife

Mel B has met up with Eddie Murphy's ex-wife for lunch in LA.

The Spice Girl joined Nicole Mitchell, who divorced the actor in 2006 after 12 years of marriage, at the Ivy in Beverly Hills.

Mel B is taking legal action to prove that the Beverly Hills Cop actor is the father of her four-month-old daughter Angel Iris and to force him to pay child support.

The women were joined at the restaurant by Angel and five-year-old Bella Zahra, the youngest of Murphy's five children with Nicole.

A source told People magazine: "They seemed really friendly toward one another. They had a pretty private meal in the back corner, away from all of us."

Eddie became engaged to new girlfriend Tracey Edmonds earlier this week.
