Pitt and Jolie deny split rumours

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have denied reports that they are on the verge of splitting up.

Rumours have been rife in recent months that the couple - who have been together for three years - are no longer making each other happy.

They were reported to be on the brink of a calling it a day after Angelina threw a glass of wine in Brad's face when he said she was "immature".

But a representative for the Ocean's Eleven actor told Us magazine that the pair are still an item and accused journalists of "writing lies" to sell more magazines.

Brad's friendship with ex-wife Jenifer Aniston and his dislike for Jolie's bossy nature have been reported as the cause of couple's "troubles".
