Ward puts 10 year ban on marriage

Shayne Ward has claimed he is too young to get married, and has promised he won't be getting hitched for another 10 years.

The X Factor winner told Bang Showbiz: "I'm 22, that is far too young to get married. I don't understand why all these girls want to get married when they're so young - I think they just want to be a young bride. I'm not planning on getting married for at least another 10 years."

The pop star has been dating Faye McKeever for four years and claims that their long distance relationship is a healthy one.

He commented: "Having a long-distance relationship is great. For other people it wouldn't work but for us it's fine. I find it a lot easier. It gives us the space that I think every relationship needs.

"And it makes it all the nicer when I do go home to see her as we're really looking forward to seeing each other. She lives in Manchester and I live in London and that's how it will stay at the moment - it really works for us."
