Leona photo shoot draws Malibu crowd

Leona Lewis drew a crowd of admirers while being photographed in Malibu, California last week.

Six security guards were called in when a group of locals congregated at a private beach where the X Factor champion was being snapped for iconic fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar.

A local resident said: "In the end the roads near to the cliff top and the beach had to be blocked off to anyone except the neighbours. Locals here really value their privacy but when people driving spotted the photo shoot taking place on the beach below, they stopped to take a look and it caused a bit of a jam on the highway!

"People here have heard that Leona is working with music legends Clive Davis and Simon Cowell and are intrigued to meet and see her."
