Kerry Katona wants her husband Mark Croft to take to take a lie detector test before she is willing to let him back into her home.
The former Atomic Kitten singer threw out her husband from their Wilmslow home after rumours surfaced that he had slept with former girlfriend Clare Bonello.
A friend of the I'm A Celebrity... winner told The Sun: "She now wants him to take the test for her own peace of mind. Her reasoning is that if he's got nothing to hide, then he's got nothing to worry about.
"He says he would take a lie-detector test - but we'll have to wait and see."
They added: "Kerry doesn't know whether to believe him or not and she wants to be 100 per cent certain. She doesn't want to look foolish."
Croft's mother has denied that her son had an affair, commenting: "Mark had some beautiful girlfriends when he was single but he would never cheat on Kerry."
"She's gorgeous - he doesn't need to cheat. He'd take a lie detector test to prove it."
