Cruise picking up Beckham's slang?

Tom Cruise is picking up British slang speak from his friend Victoria Beckham, according to a report.

The actor apparently finds the Spice Girl's language hilarious and has adopted words such as "bloody", "blimey" and "chaps".

A source told the Daily Star: "Tom thinks her words and phrases are brilliant. Whenever he’s round there and she says something really English he goes crazy for it and starts mimicking her.

"He loves the British language because some of the sayings are so quirky. She’ll say things like ‘bloody hell’ and ‘blimey’. And she’ll say ‘come on chaps’ to her sons.

"Tom loves hearing it all and is building up a bit of an Anglo vocabulary himself."

And the source said Cruise was not along in Hollywood names picking up on Beckham's voice: "Victoria is amused by his enthusiasm over her everyday chatter.

"But she’s starting to get used to it – because another friend Will Smith also likes taking off the English accent and turn of phrase. She’s getting it quite a lot."
